Debbe Kennedy, founder of Global Dialogue Center has come up with a beautiful piece on ‘Finding New Levels of Courage‘ for women folk. She has tried to instill courage and insight into women’s heart.
It states that ‘life‘ has great hopes and expectations from women and it is always asking for more and more. This has always occupied her mind in all the situations of life whether in tragedy or in death or in destruction. In order to move ahead, she has picked up few pieces of encouragement that lead her to the arena of courage.
The three things that have been trusted friends are:
1. A big rock with ‘yes’ inscribed on it, which suggests that by answering ‘yes’ to a life’s problem the way automatically opens.
2. A mantra for confronting the most difficult aspects of life ‘I can, I will, I must, I am’.
3. Twelve two-letter sentences, which everyone may keep in mind.

Suzanne Swift, the then twenty one year old Army Specialist, was arrested for showing her reluctance in going back to fight in Iraq. She served in Iraq for a year but decided she won’t return and went AWOL. Not only did she feel the war lacked purpose, Swift said her superiors repeatedly sexually harassed her while serving in Iraq.
