Col. Atef Zahar’s petition for an appeal to the High Court has been discarded by the military appeals court at IDF Headquarters.
The military court has condemned him six years of imprisonment for raping a junior female soldier.
Zahar’s lawyer plans to file a special appeal to Supreme Court President Dorit Beinisch.
Zahar has been accused of sexually molesting a former female soldier and of passing indecent remarks to many others.
