
Women have various roles to perform in and outside their homes. Quite a number of times, women have been looked down upon and especially if the women belong to the Asiatic countries and are personified only as wives, mistress and prostitutes. In business, it can hold a costly view.
On the bases of experience and careful observation, it has been discovered that women as in authority works in the most efficient manner and is less susceptible to corruption than the male counterpart is. Moreover, when it comes to corporate governance, they tend to be more diligent on compliance issues.
The answer takes us way back to history, to Khadijah, the Prophet Muhammad’s first and most cherished wife. She herself was a trader and later gave money to Muhammad so that he could do trade on her behalf. He returned with a good profit, so she decided that he would make a suitable husband.
It is sheer contrast to the present situation operating today in the realm of women folk in Saudi Arabia. So much restriction has been imposed upon them that women are not supposed to drive even a car.
