Women all around the world are still craving for justice which otherwise are not given to them. Recently a case has come up and this time it is from Manila.
Nicole a 23-year-old young woman has blamed four servicemen of sexually molesting her last year.
However, instead of offering her justice, the high profilers have tagged her as a ‘prostitute’ and have circulated her pornographic DVD.
Consequent upon which, the episode received open criticism by a group of leftist women. It further said that,
‘Powerful people wanted to destroy the strength of the case filed by rape victim Nicole, against the US servicemen’.
However, nothing much has been done of the case as the accused remained in the custody of the US Embassy while the hearing of the case was held since last year. In addition, the rape case has fanned strong anti-US sentiment in the Philippines, one of the US’s allies in Asia.
