In today’s time where people live by reason alone, where they strive to know more and more about the happenings around them. In the same arena is a country called Nepal, were natives are still living in the down trodden and age-old dogmas.



The people in here can go to any extent to appease their ‘Gods’. A recent happening of the country is quite flabbergasting. Because of the irregular monsoons, it did not shower in the region so dozens of native women stripped naked and ploughed their fields in west Nepal, hoping to appease the gods and get some much-needed rain.



Although there is no clear religious basis for the practice, but some locals believe that, such a move could appease the rain gods.
