On Thursday, a conference was held at Whenuapai, Air Base in Auckland by the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF). The discourse was to encourage and motivate the young women to join the Air Force. At present, round about 401 women are serving in RNZAF. Wing Commander Leanne Woon also the Organizer says, ‘It’s about giving our women strategies to cope in what is a predominantly male environment and teach them how to lead not only men, but other women as well’.
