The centre of Public Health Ministry has come up with the information that round about 37 women folk becomes prey of violence each day.
They compiled the information from 82 hospitals from first of January to 17th of November according to which 13,550 female victims of violence came up for help.
Paiboon Wattanasiritham, Social Development and Human Security Minister said, ‘This means the number of actual victims can be much higher.’ Adding further he stated the figures excluded the verbal violence which the emotionally hurt females experiences.
