Women in China, particularly western side, are being slaughtered so that they could become brides of a dead man.
This is because of the prevalence of a weird custom operating in the country according to which, if an unmarried man dies, he must accompany a deceased woman who will be his wife in the afterlife.
Recently, Chinese police have arrested three men for killing two young women to sell their corpses as ‘ghost brides’ for dead single men. And their corpses have been forwarded for an amount of 8,000 yuan to 16,000 yuans.
One of the detainee said,
‘I did it for the money; it was a quick buck. If I hadn’t slipped up early, I planned to do a few more.’
