India, a country where people have such weird ideas (sorry for using the word but I can’t stop myself applying it in here), so as I was saying, India a place where people are living in 21st century but still believing in superstitions. Not only the illiterate ones but also the so-called educated people come under its category.
Recently, there was this issue of sugary water making the headlines and before that, the matter of idols drinking milk was at the fore. Now as expected, we have another topic coming up and this one is from Rajasthan.
These days the native women of Rajasthan are busy tying wristband to any five married women and after that performing the same thing with the idol of Goddess Parvati.
The logic given by them is that the deed will protect their husband. Most of the women are of the view that if it won’t protect them, it won’t do any harm either. Hmmm...
